I wrote and directed a hit play. What did you ever do?

So I did a play. I may have mentioned this. There were ten shows. You probably wouldn't have heard of it. It was called William Shakespeare? As You Like It, more specifically. And I like it very much, thx.

So today was our last show; bittersweet, alas. I took some photos. I thought I might share.

Most of them are in the green room, since that is where I spent most of my time, having a small role which saw me out of the story by scene two.

But the green room has good things! Like cake!

This cake was made for our cast party, which was actually last week. You may remember me talking about it and how legendary it wasn't. This cake originally had "'As You Like It'" written on it. Like that. In quotes. I'll let the shock of that sink in.

You know as well as I do that the titles of plays (save for one-act plays) are italicized or underlined, not put in quotes! Obviously this is why that person makes cakes at Kroger, and why I am king of Eff Mountain. Fortunately, my fellow actors saw this mistake and ate off the offending punctuation.
