At last! A porno comic starring Dr. Strange!
Happy birthday, Nate! Now you can see it in more than just your dreams!

--------------------------------

Seriously, though, it really is Nate's birthday today. I'm sure he would tell you as much himself, but he doesn't have internet without being able to sneak into Robert Kirkman's house while he's at San Diego.

As some of you know, Nate is planning on starting a daily sketch blog, like unto Cory Walker's much-vaunted scatchblag, some time after today. It will be located at http://fetorpse.blogspot.com .

---------------------------------

I've been considering starting a second blog of my own, something that would be more like a work blog, and I'd try to post daily content of even the smallest sort, so that in a way the "public" would be holding me accountable for getting work done on a daily basis. This place would still be the whatever the hell it is, but the other thing would be another thing.

I don't know. I'm thinking on it.

--------------------------------

Here is a movie that is awesome.

I finally rented it last night, months after it was recommended to me by Christianson Q. Piersmundersonsunson in between bouts of mononucleosis and practicing Kung Jew.

It's a pretty hilarious post-modern look at slasher movies that's way more effective (in my opinion) than, say, Scream or Big Momma's House 2.

A grad school film crew documents the rise of a new supernatural murderer in the vein of Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees, who's actually, you know, kind of a regular guy?

A REGULAR GUY WITH A PRIUS

Anyway, it's really awesome and I think you should see it. It's currently available on DVD and available on VHS in 1985.

--------------------------------

Another movie that is awesome but not recommended to me by Chris Piers: Zodiac, depicting the long-standing battle between cartoonists and serial killers. At last the truth can be known.

Seriously, it's awesome, go rent it. It came out on DVD this past week.

Other movies I have recently watched and enjoyed:

The Devil and Daniel Johnston
Delicatessen

-------------------------------

This journal is rapidly approaching its fifth anniversary. I'd kind of like to do something special for you, the reader. But what? I ask.

A retrospective of my favorite posts of the last five years? Some new writing, such as a script or a short story (I already know the answer to this one)? A photo-journal of what my average day is like?

What would you like to see me post to commemorate five years of wasting my time on internet?

-------------------------------

Okay, that's all.
